Show your creative side

For those of you in the Logan area and who are attending SHAFT meeting regularly, many thanks. Now we have another favor to ask. As Paint the Street draws closer, we need to start thinking up ideas for a logo/quote/picture/something to put down in paint. If anybody think of something, let one of the officer’s know. If you want to draw up your design, even better. Bring it to a meeting, or give it to an officer as you see them wandering about campus. Thanks for your input, you guys, and I’m sure you’ll come up with something “inspiring”. ;)

  1. _ _
           _==/          i     i          \==_
         /XX/ |\___/| \XX\
       /XXXX\ |XXXXX| /XXXX\
      |XXXXXX\_ _XXXXXXX_ _/XXXXXX|
     XXXXXXXXXXXxxxxxxxXXXXXXXXXXXxxxxxxxXXXXXXXXXXX
    |XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX|
    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    |XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX|
     XXXXXX/^^^^"\XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/^^^^^\XXXXXX
      |XXX| \XXX/^^\XXXXX/^^\XXX/ |XXX|
        \XX\ \X/ \XXX/ \X/ /XX/
           "\ " \X/ " /"

something like the bat logo but with the letters SHAFT in it.

  2. We could do something that looks like a crossword puzzle and has brief definitions of what shaft stands for as the clues.
Or we could paint a picture of Samuel L. Jackson or Isaac Hayes with the word Shaft beneath them.
We might get in trouble for having a large CTR ring that says “Choose the Reasonable – SHAFT” below it.

  3. @ David,

I like the CTR ring idea. It seems to me that it shouldn’t offend anyone, since the CTR ring isn’t an official symbol or anything (i.e., shouldn’t, but probably will).
