Coincidentally, my department head recently berated me for including in the footer of my web pages a "Scarlet Letter" link to Richard Dawkin's Out Campaign. Apparently a student complained to him, so he let me know in no uncertain terms that it was inappropriate and highly offensive. Sigh.... Consequently, the link is gone, but I nonetheless still display the "A" on those pages with pride --in case anyone asks. After all, I always have to look at the students' CTR rings and scriptures. I don't see why I shouldn't have the same right to come OUT of the --gasp!-- heretic closet. Keep up the good work! Kudos to you, Jon!
